There is a new Team Macromedia weblog that has been started by Macromedia. The idea is to provide a central place for us to post our thoughts and comments about Flash development.
I will be using this forum to post Flash comments, but I will continue to post them on this site too.

Macromedia just announced that it will be hosting a Community Week. This is a week-long series of MacroChats that will be held from May 17 to May 21. MacroChats are online presentations using Breeve Live. And the Best part is that these sessions are free.

There has been some discussion on the message boards recently about the removeMovieClip method of the MovieClip object. This method has caused some confusion with some developers because it only works with certain MovieClip instances. In the beginning…
Well if you happen to run across this site you are witnessing my first attempt at a blog. I plan on using this blog as an opportunity to comment on issues relating to web and interactive development.
I am currently the Lead Interactive Developer at Lawrence & Schiller Advertising in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and I’ve been developing for the web since 1996. I am a Certified Advanced ColdFusion MX and Flash MX Developer. I also work in the Flash community as a member of Team Macromedia.
